Paula Warden, LAC
Paula, a Grants Pass native, has a remarkable educational and professional background. In 2002, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Willamette University, where she specialized in Sociology and minored in Spanish. Notably, Paula's exceptional vocal talent earned her a prestigious scholarship to pursue her studies at Willamette, where she passionately immersed herself in the world of opera. Afterward, in 2007, she successfully completed her Masters degree from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine, specializing in acupuncture. Since 2008, Paula has been a licensed acupuncturist, serving the Grants Pass community.
Driven by her dedication to holistic wellness, Paula has actively pursued additional certifications and training in various fields. In 2013, she completed a comprehensive 200-hour yoga teacher training program led by Tiffany Cruikshank of Yoga Medicine. Her commitment to expanding her expertise continued in 2015 when she undertook an apprenticeship program focused on orthopedics and sports medicine acupuncture, led by Whitfield Reaves. Adding to her impressive repertoire, Paula completed the Crossfit Level 1 training in 2019.
With a deep-rooted passion for movement, Paula's professional objective is to empower individuals, enabling them to feel strong, resilient, and pain-free in their bodies. She firmly believes in the interconnectedness of physical and mental strength and the importance of maintaining a flexible mind alongside a flexible body.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Paula finds joy and fulfillment in a variety of personal pursuits. Whether it's trail running with her faithful canine companion, indulging in equestrian activities, embarking on travel adventures, savoring delectable cuisine, or sharing laughter with cherished friends, she embraces the richness of life outside of work and teaching.
